He should do a design for 1800! It was magazine printed and totally impossible to buy or get one's hands on. I'd love to print my own copy to play (is that allowed when there's no way to get the game anyways?). That would be a neat one to see re-designed. Of course, it would need tiles etc also.

Re: the confirmation email — not a huge surprise. Fortunately registering an account is not necessary, only slows down the appearance of comments.
I know I have very little reason to buy Chicago Express (not that I was planning to do so) now that I have Sampo's map — as beautiful Chicago Express is, I think I prefer Sampo's work. Also, I'm obsessive-compulsive enough to be driven nuts by upside-down train engines.
It's always a pleasure to know really talented people, especially when they put their talents in to good use. Now I'm off to convince Sampo he really needs to do remakes of Gulf, Mobile & Ohio and New England Railways as well...

I signed up for an account for your blog to comment, but the confirmation email never came (just FYI).
Thanks for posting the link to Sampo's work. That is some very impressive stuff. I already have Chicago Express, so I won't be printing my own Wabash at all, but he did a spectacular job with that and Ostbahn. The Medici redesign is also awesome work. Well, it's all very nice. Good find.
